Terms of Use & Community Guidelines
By creating an It Mom account you agree to this End User License Agreement and the community guidelines below. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use It Mom.
Zero tolerance
It Mom has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Reported content is reviewed and removed, and offending accounts are ejected, within 24 hours.
1. Who may join
It Mom is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or older. Every account is verified by email. One account per person; impersonation is prohibited.
2. Community guidelines
- •Be kind. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats toward any mom or family.
- •No objectionable content: nudity, sexual content, violence, or anything unsafe for a parenting community.
- •No spam, ads, MLM recruiting, or affiliate-only posts. Share honest, first-hand experience.
- •Be real. No fake accounts, impersonation, or scam giveaways.
- •Respect privacy. Never post another family's photos, address, or personal details without permission.
- •Pass-it-on items must be safe, clean, and not subject to a recall.
3. Objectionable content is not tolerated
You may not post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, deceptive, or that endangers a child. Posting such content results in immediate removal and may result in permanent loss of your account.
4. Reporting and blocking
Every question, reply, pass-it-on listing, and member profile has a Report control and a Block control. Reporting sends the content to the It Mom safety queue. Blocking immediately removes that member and all of their content from your feeds, search results, recommendations, and messages, and prevents them from contacting you.
5. The 24-hour rule
Reports are triaged by an It Mom safety reviewer with a hard deadline of 24 hours from the moment a report is filed. Within that window we review the report, remove content that violates these terms, and suspend (eject) the offending account. Suspended accounts cannot post, message, appear in search, or be recommended. Repeat or severe violations lead to permanent removal.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant It Mom a licence to display your content to the members you share it with. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
7. Pass-it-on items
Giveaways are arranged between members. It Mom does not inspect items, is not a party to any exchange, and is not liable for it. Meet in a safe public place and check items for recalls.
8. No warranty and limitation of liability
It Mom is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, It Mom is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile.
